First Post Ever!

  I'm jumping into the world of blogging to document our first big family vacation. We're going to Disney World for 6 days, flying out of Ottawa on July 10th.  Molly and I have never flown before, with the exception of my helicopter tour over Ottawa about 25 years ago! Should be interesting. Jay, Grace and Molly haven't visited any Disney Parks yet. For me it will be a blast to the past as I was very fortunate as a child to experience sun, sand, thrills and magic with my family in the 1970's. I hope they come away with, at least, as many fantastic memories as I hold dear.

  Since our flight is not direct we will not be landing in Orlando until 9:45pm. The Disney Magical Express shuttle service will whisk us away to the Disney Port Orleans-French Quarter where the real fun will begin.

  We booked directly with Disney and the service, so far, has been informative, super friendly, and most excellent - every magical step of the way.

Disney has emailed each day with helpful tips and reminders...and today we received our shuttle bus "family ticket" and necessary luggage tags via UPS.

So I guess it's official now!!
